FREE CLE Training for Volunteer Attorneys
- HVLP's Family Law Seminar consists of presentations delivered by notable family law attorneys. The seminar offers 6.5 hours of credit including 1 hour of ethics. It is free to any attorney who agrees to accept a HVLP case. The seminar will be held on May 19th at the South Texas College of Law. - Family Law Clinics are mobile CLE courses presented by HVLP staff attorneys for non-family lawyers interested in handeling pro bono family law cases. Please visit our calendar to see our upcoming scheduled clinics or call Jamie Honeycutt at 713-228-0735 extension 140 to schedule a clinic for your firm.
- Individual mentoring by experienced attorneys is provided to any attorney who handles an HVLP case. Mentors are also assigned to any firm hosting a Family Law Clinic. HVLP mentors are available to answer any procedural or substantive law question that may arise in your pro bono case.
